The time is now 12: 45 am

Sometimes I wonder why I stay up so late, no actually scratch that, I wonder every damn day. I'm mad at myself for doing this to myself - but in all seriousness, my Midnight sessions must come to an end - for now, I need to sleep. But really now, who actually reads my Midnight sessions? :/
Since my webcam decided to runaway with it's lover - I had to take pics on my cam and it sucks because it kills the whole point of the Midnight session.

But anyway, I hope you are admiring my mask :) I got it from a very nice stranger. Well, I asked for it and he gave it to me - ncargh! Cape Tonians are such good people, great people - fantastic I tell you! cough
I need to do my hair though :/ I'm thinking of doing that bob thingy...
I hope it suits me *fingers crossed*
Psssst Reader, psssst .. I'm working at Elle next week :D Eeeeek! I'm super stoked bro. Man, I pray it goes well - beyond well!
Oh my soul it's getting late, and ADT keeps passing by, I think they can see the light from my laptop :/
krrrk krrrk krrk..

creeps!
If you're reading this at 12:59 am, you are the bomb my friend! High five for you - but why are you up so late?

ps. My mind is sober, it always is, this is just a failed attempt to look sexy.

"Rayne is the shiz."

Every time I take a glimpse at Jessica's website, Rayne - I die again. Man , she's too sick.
I would say that her work is generally for those who love black but yet, Jessica doesn't seem to limit her skills at just that.
These are one of a kind garments, reconstructed from original vintage pieces.

"Each garment is a labor of love, carefully deconstructed and put back together with a modern and distinctive twist. With each garment being custom made and one of a kind, the owner is guaranteed an exclusive and an  environmentally conscious product which they will treasure beyond trend and time." - Jessica Rayne

[Reference: GQ <-- 'click here' ]

1. The 'All american' trend.
..tipped cardigans, and banlon polo shirts.

2. The anorak trend.
"If you spot an anorak, buy one of colour - it's a summer hoodie bro." -Tony Gum

3. The cargo trend.
"The cargo pant went from being dead to being a new classic. It's not going anywhere. The key is to always get one slim and tailored. Roll the pant legs, ditch socks, and pull on some bucks. Dress it up with a blazer or wear it down with a fatigue and tee." -Jim Moore

4. The plaid suit trend.
"Plaid is not the kind of pattern you want anything else competing with. When you're assembling a plaid suit look, anchor it with a white shirt." -Jim Moore

5. The cotton suit trend.
"Embrace the wrinkles." -Tony Gum

6. The double-breasted suit trend.
"Try one with a tee that has a stretched out neck." -Jim Moore

7. The gray suit trend.
"This will always be around - it's a classic, so it's essential." -Tony Gum

8. The striped knit tie trend.
"Yes, you can pull this off with just about any shirt and jacket - love it!" -Tony Gum

9. Fly-front raincoat trend.
"...instantly tops off a look and makes it more chic and modern." -Jim Moore

10. Sailor stripes.
"This will look great with a pair of chinos and the 'wingtip' trend." -Tony Gum

11. The striped sweater trend.
"Everyone looks good in a chest stripe because it gives the illusion of a broad chest and helps define your torso." -Jim Moore.

12. The suede wingtip trend.

13. The shiny suit trend.
"It's the kind of suit that can carry on from the office to the bar." - Jim Moore

14. The white pants trend.
"Think of white pants as just the next step after white jeans. Here's how to pull them off: stay away from pastels; make sure the fit is slim, not floppy; and basically think of like a pair of chinos. A dark shirt will always look good and don't be afraid to try them with a pair of sandals or espadrilles, like we saw all over the runway." -Jim Moore

15. The Hawaiian print trend.
"Ease into it by putting one under a dark jacket or with shorts and shoes that aren't too loud. You want it to be the highlight of your look." -Jim Moore.

16. The coloured chino trend.
"A lot of people think you need to be going on vacation to pull off a colored chino. Not true. You can wear them on the streets, too. Just keep everything else toned back so that the orange, blue, green, or whatever color you go for is the only accent." -Jim Moore

17. The bright sole trend.
"This is a statement shoe, so keep the rest of the outfit calm." -Tony Gum

This blog update was supposed to be a DIY: fringe t-shirt.
To cut the long story short [no pun intended], the lamp that I use as extra light in my "photoshoots" went out. I'm really upset because this post would've been my first DIY post.
DAMMIT!!! but I'll still continue with the shoot and hopefully, it will posted by Sunday.

To make myself feel better, I decided to post the pics that I managed to take.
I'm really sorry for the inconvenience.

Xhosa-inspired knitwear for Amakrwala by Luduma Ngxokolo.
Luduma's designs are so impeccable - my word. His brand "MaXhosa" has been around for a while now.
He designed a range of men’s knitwear for Amakrwala, in order to introduce traditional Xhosa aesthetics into their attire.
"But what does Amakrwala mean? Traditionally, in the Eastern Cape Xhosa communities, hundreds of Xhosa boys aged between eighteen and twenty-three attend Xhosa circumcision schools for a manhood initiation ritual. After these Xhosa initiates return home from the initiation school, they are guided through a six-month process where their elders teach them manhood protocol. Xhosa initiates are traditionally called Amakrwala during this process."
