From now on, I have decided to give you fellow Readers, a preview for what I wear on occasional days.

I wanted to still have that 'spunk' in my wardrobe even though it's still winter. Who says you can't wear shorts with stockings?? I mean c'mon, we are AWESOME!

Just because it is a new season does not mean that we have to go shopping.

Use what you have and add a little twist ;)

There's something so irresistible about cosy knits 

Short lengths have no boundaries (some not really even classifying as shorts they're so far shorter than short), bras can be worn as tops and crochet is absolutely mandatory, regardless of whether it's on-trend or not. And that's the whole point: it's about having fun and capturing the festival spirit.

I  love the way a fur coat casually thrown over the shoulders - especially a white fur - can end up wings looking like a pair of fluffy . hehe :)

Ankle length pleated skirts have dominated the streets like an army of rogue autumn mushrooms popping up in a pine forest.

This camel coat may be a little to the dark side of the colour spectrum, but it's still the perfect sort of coat to take you from Spring to Autumn without skipping a beat.

Doing the over the knee socks for Winter can feel a bit school-girl if you're not careful. If you want to go for more of a sophisticated look, taking your lead from this street style outfit wouldn't be a bad idea.

The fedora is a snazzy touch with this amazing tailored, fitting blazer.
ps. Don't be affraid to have abit of colour. This baby blue blazer is a perfect example to guide you

White trousers are a huge risk for men. Make sure it is not too fitting otherwise it will look corny. I love the trend of rolling up the trousers at the end, I do it all the time with my jeans. It makes the 'formal' seem abit more 'casual' with touch of edge.
Don't be afraid to own a pair of sandals, preferably gladiators :) Don't be to extravagent with it though.

Tailored suits and altored trousers are a huge fashion trend for this season. Even though we might have cold winters in Cape Town, layering is the key. Nothing is more trendy than layering up for the Fall.
Adding scarves, trench coats, beanies, boots would be the perfect touch to your everyday look.

Seriously, if a guy had to walk up to me looking like 'the above'... 

I would marry him ;)
